GENETIC MATERIAL


The bulls making up the Liberty team package will represent the best genetic material available.

A cross-section of genetics is included and while BW is the greatest selection factor, other criteria including genetic variation and fertility will carry weight.

An updated Genetic base change came into effect on the 26 June, 2010 "

"For the Breeding Worth (BW) index you can expect the reported BW for each animal to be approximately $41 lower after the genetic base change". Refer to the Animal Evaluation Unit for full details

Liberty Genetics has sought the best genetics available and specifically gone to breeders who have a proven record of breeding successful sires for AB usage.

Several of the bulls are ET brothers to bulls entering the sire proving schemes of other AB companies.
The dams of the bulls have been TOP inspected. Our selections are biased towards New Zealand Genetics but do not exclude international genetic material.

While Liberty Genetics Ltd owns no bulls, some of the bulls are owned by investors in the company.
